The eThekwini Municipality Parks Department (EMPD)
The Ethekwini Municipality Parks Department (EMPD) donated five trees to Lyndhurst, which were planted on the 18th of July 2024.
Our Grade 3 and Grade 6 learners proudly represented our school and participated in the tree planting ceremony.
Much appreciation to Thandeka from the Parks Department for initiating the donation of trees.
Our Departmental Heads, Mrs. A. Lavender and Mrs. K. Moodley, successfully coordinated the tree planting event.
These trees will uphold the memory of the good deeds of Nelson Mandela, and our Lyndhurst learners will enjoy the shade for years to come!
